Sevan Avakian
Partner, General Counsel and Chief Operating Officer
Sevan was a partner at Gould & Ratner LLP, where he served as outside general counsel to a number of prominent family offices and their portfolio companies. In this role, he was a trusted advisor to founders, executives, and investors, providing strategic guidance on a broad range of complex transactions, corporate governance matters, and long-term business planning initiatives.
He also represented angel investors and venture capital firms across the full investment lifecycle, including fund formation, deal structuring, negotiations, and ongoing portfolio company operations. Sevan is known for his ability to bridge legal, business, and financial considerations, helping clients execute transactions efficiently while positioning their businesses for scalable growth.
